Best Cat Food for cat with a lot of allergies?
All the Cat Foods we’ve tried have either made my cat start vomitting or have very bad bowel issues. We’ve fed her peanut butter, popcorn, and chicken gravy all at different times, just because, and everytime, it makes her bottom lip swell and she gets a lump in her throat. Any human food sets her off. Even smelling at some human food, and she starts itching her face. We haven’t confirmed, but expect she is has many allergies. Best cry cat food choice? Natural Balance, hands down best allergy food EVER! 99% of dogs/cats that come into our store with allergies are on this food. The reason its so awesome is because there are only 2 ingredients, so it really narrows down what your cat can and can’t have. There is the Green Pea and Duck formula and Green Pea and Salmon. And those are the only 2 ingredients on the food (besides supplements like vitamins and minerals) but for food ingredients that’s it! They also make a wet food to go with it and treats! its pretty cost effective a 5lbs bag is around $15. Honestly we’ve seen so much improvement with this food, its the only one i suggest for allergies. I hope this helps
i’d try this food before spending $400-800 at the vets doing allergy testing and blood tests
ps. don’t feed her any chicken, beef or grains, they’re some of the most common allergies in cats
